If you’re in a wheelchair, here’s a device that will help relieve shoulder pain immensely. Check out my post for other solutions: Shoulder Pain. Fairly simple idea; it slides right on to the armrest and stays there without any tools or clamps or screws necessary. It keeps your arm up, taking the weight off of your shoulder joint. When I was still confined to a chair, this really helped me. My arm would fall without me even knowing. Great anti-gravity device. It comes with this thin foam pad you can attach, but I found that a towel or pillowcase is much more comfortable to provide something between my arm and the plastic. I found it rather expensive at $144, but I figured that my shoulder was worth it and a good investment in pain relief. Very sturdy.
